Advertising & Marketing Communications BA (Hons) student at De Montfort University, with an interest in connecting brands to their target market through story telling and emphasising their unique positioning with relatable and enjoyable communications.

“What do you offer that separates yourself from others in your market, and why is this important to your customer? What does the customer see in your values and objectives that makes them want to connect with your brand above others?”

I am naturally a creative and analytical person, which allows me to produce inventive campaigns based on a strong understanding of background research and data analysis.

Please enjoy these examples of my degree work.

Due to winning the client project for the Regulatory, Ethical & Sustainable Comms module in year 1, I was offered the chance to re-create the sustainability event stand for the universities Welcome Week in September 2024.

I used my reflective blog from the module to analyse where I could improve the immersive experience for the student consumers and improve customer engagement opportunities.

I designed the stall, including the wearable art pieces and all the media communications.

The wearable art pieces represent the negativity of fast fashion and excessive waste (the black piece) and the beauty and freshness of nature (the white piece). These were both made solely from repurposed materials, including ‘knitted’ compost bags, unused plant pots and old paint.

The media was designed in Canva, which included QR links to reference the facts being shared, plus information about local business sponsorships that I had organised.

There were also mirrors with positive and negative environmental sustainability messages on, which could help consumers visualise their own values as part of their reflections.
